What the drive is like
Your driver is inside the arrivals hall, past baggage claim, holding a sign with your name. He carries the bags, you walk out and the car is at the door. No queue at the taxi rank, no haggling over the fare.
The road runs above the sea the whole way, past Župa and the Old Town walls. Twenty-two kilometres, half an hour in normal traffic and closer to forty-five minutes in August.
The Old Town is closed to cars, so we drop you at Pile or Ploče gate, whichever is nearer your address, and help the bags the last few metres. If your flat is up the stairs, tell us in the notes and the driver comes along.
