What the drive is like
Four hours along the Adriatic highway, and easily the most scenic drive we do. The road hangs above the water almost the whole way, with Pelješac on one side and the open sea on the other.
Since the Pelješac bridge opened the whole drive stays inside Croatia. No borders, no queues, no passports on the seat beside you.
Most guests add Ston on the way: the walls and the salt pans are twenty minutes off the road. Add the oyster farm in Mali Ston or a tasting at Rizman above Komarna and the transfer becomes a day of its own, which many people prefer to paying for a separate tour. Mostar does the same, with a border and a bazaar.
