What the drive is like
Two hours and fifteen minutes, of which the last forty are the best part: the road traces the whole inner Bay of Kotor, water on your right the entire way.
The border at Debeli Brijeg is straightforward with a passport or an EU ID card. In July and August it is the one unpredictable part of the drive, so we leave a margin and tell you honestly if the morning looks bad.
Kotor's old town is walled and car-free; we stop at the Sea Gate, a minute from the main square. Perast is fifteen minutes before Kotor and worth the stop if you have never seen it.

Stop along the way
Tap what you want to see. The price and the duration change right away, so there is nothing to negotiate with the driver on the road.
